Melanie’s written collaboration with local artist Nicola Woods is on display for a limited time in October at 911 Davenport Road, (just west of Christie). It is stirring and powerful in content and visual impact. We encourage you to visit.

Dr. Chung was thrilled to be invited as the keynote speaker for the launch of Purecalla, a new coaching and personal wellness initiative. Congratulations to them. We know that it will be a strong and positive influence in the community.

Melanie and Dr. Chung attended the annual Naturopathic Assocation’s Botanical Walk in Coldwater, ON. The walk was led by Anthony Godfrey, ND PhD and John Redden, a noted local botanist. Despite the pouring rain, the mood remained inquiring, enthusiastic and reverent for all the herbal varieties that they walked amidst.

Dr. Chung attended the latest installment in the “ever-evolving system” of BodyTalk, the PaRama Unit 2 Practical in Clearwater, Florida this August. The founder, John Veltheim presented a 4 day presentation culled from his recent collaborations with the Centre for Biofield Studies in Pune, India.

Dr. Chung has returned from incredible Costa Rica and would love to thank everyone involved for such a rich learning experience. We will definitely be looking into doing similar events in the future. This month we were privileged to attend the inaugural teaching of Parama College Unit 2 BodyTalk in Sarasota, Florida. For those of you familiar with the system you will understand how exciting it is to be part of such a dynamically evolving system of healthcare. After completing training in Seattle this month, we are the only Certified PaRama level Bodytalk Practitioner-Naturopathic Doctor in Canada. This allows us to do state of the art Mind-Body balancing, reduce the number of supplements used and to clear away conditioning and old patterns to allow for true healing. This approach also eases your evolution mental-emotionally and spiritually, allowing for increased peace and focused direction in your life. A busy month!

We traveled to the beautiful city of Boston for their fabulous chowder and to attend the Clinical Training in Mind/Body Medicine Seminar held by the Harvard Medical School. Along with meeting some fantastic people we've also compiled some compelling research about many of the approaches that Naturopathic Doctors and other healers have been using for decades! Ask us about this and look for some new programs to be introduced as a result of this seminar later this year.

Back in Toronto, we hosted the DreamBuilder seminar with "Inner Access", our fantastic associates from New York City, at 6 St. James Centre. A portion of the proceeds went directly to the centre to support the continuation of their heartfelt programs for the marginalized and homeless population in Downtown Toronto.

We're back to school and work here at Park Road and preparing for some busy months ahead. This month we're visiting Sarasota, Florida to learn the BreakThrough system with Esther Veltheim and have been invited to speak in New York and LA on Principles and Applications of Naturopathic Medicine in October. We're so thankful for these great opportunities and looking foward to seeing you all again this fall!

We’ve been very busy this summer with seminars and conferences, mainly with advanced BodyTalk modules and PaRama but also with innovative new acupuncture techniques. They’ve taken us from Chicago in March and July, to New York and LA in June. We’re happy to be home but if you know Dr. Chung she won’t be able to sit still for long!
